My name is Kamrudin Abdulrasul Rashid born in Zanzibar, Tanzania and now settled in Toronto, Ontario, Canada since May 1975.
My forefathers were from Kutch Manjal in Gujarat, India and my great grandfather migrated to Zanzibar in late 1800’s (I believe it was in the year 1891).
The family was quite staunch in faith and it experienced many miracles during my great grandfather’s lifetime – and just one example of this is that he even predicted the time of his death!
The decision of creating my own blog is primarily to post for the benefit of family and friends around the world about the emigration, settlement and development of our family in in the 3 continents of India, East Africa and Canada.
